DISCOVERING THE LAMBORGHINI WORLD WITH THE OPPO FIND X3 PRO CAMERA
In Sant'Agata Bolognese, in the historic Lamborghini headquarters, Oppo Find X3 Pro was the protagonist, together with the racing cars from the house of the bull, of an entire day dedicated to technology and speed. A winning mix possible thanks to the deep bond between the two brands, which have been collaborating for years, since the time of the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition. Features such as speed, innovation and attention to detail unite them and today their partnership seems stronger than ever.
Thanks to it we were able to test the camera of the Find X3
Pro in a very fascinating context, which starts from the Modena Autodrome and
reaches the Lamborghini racing department , where we were able to preview
thenew Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 and some of the models that have rightfully
entered the history of motoring.
You get on the track
It was the men of the Lamborghini Racing Team who opened the
day at the Modena Autodrome. Cars like the Huracan or the Urus are not driven
every day, which is why it is important to emphasize safety before hitting the
track . Track that, despite its small size, has managed to bring out all the
sporting soul of the two racing cars of the bull's house, very different from
each other but both exciting to drive. The Lamborghini rumble is one of a kind
and you can hear it all when you step on the accelerator.
Between one corner and the next, all the power of the over
600 hp generates a considerable force, obviously accentuated on the Huracan,
thanks to the improved agility, but the emotion is also strong on the Urus, an
SUV that with its 850 nm torque glues literally to the seat on the straight of
the Modenese track.
At the end of the test, the opportunity arose to test one of
the unique features of the Find X3 Pro, its macro camera . Similar cams are now
mounted on many smartphones, even low-end ones, but the results obtained are
always of poor quality. However, among the sensors present in the Find X3 Pro
there is a very special one, with only 3 Megapixels but capable of showing the
world in miniature like no other.
The image taken seems to come from who knows what alien
world, but it is nothing more than the surface of a Huracan tire after the
morning test session. The wear of the tire is evident, the image also shows
small pebbles that have moved from the asphalt to the rubber.
This shot is impossible to take with any other smartphone
and shows what this camera is capable of, perfectly functional for the purpose
for which it was created.
The Lamborghini world
The Lamborghini headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese is a
place of worship for all fans of the Italian car manufacturer. Unfortunately,
accessing the actual factory was not possible, COVID is still here and safety
must come first, despite this visiting the Lamborghini Squadra Corse Department
was an even more exciting experience. It is here that the cars are produced
which are then used on the track by drivers and enthusiasts from all over the
world. In this context, the new Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 was shown, chosen to
participate in the fourteenth season of the Lamborghini single-make
championship.
All the images in this article were taken with an Oppo Find
X3 Pro in the simplest way possible , without any further software processing.
With a price of 250,000 euros, excluding taxes, the EVO2 is a racing car with a
620 hp V10 5.2 engine and is equipped with the best technologies available
today at Lamborghini. A mechanical jewel that shows its muscles even more,
especially when compared to the myths of the past preserved in the Lamborghini
museum.
Here the explosive power of the EVO2 gives way to a journey
into the world of the past, starting with the 350 GT , the first Lamborghini to
officially go into production.
Released in 1964, it had 320 hp and still retains a unique
charm of its kind. Very particular is the 1968 Espada , Lamborghini's first
four-seater car, shown for the first time at the opening of the 1967 Monaco GP,
driven by Prince Rainier III of Monaco with Princess Grace Kelly at his side.
Seen live it amazes for its length and sharp line, in
contrast to the 350 GT but also to that myth called Miura, which went into
production in 1966. A racing car capable of reaching 280 km / h and
accelerating from 0 to 100 in 6.7 seconds; produced in only 475 units, still
today it is one of the most popular cars of the house of the bull.
Unique of its kind is the story of the LM 002 , the first
real off-road vehicle produced by Lamborghini and presented at the 1982 Geneva
Motor Show, and then went on sale in 1986. The LM 002 derives from the
Lamborghini Cheetah, an off-road vehicle born for the army. American but never
went into production.
The LM002 can be said to be the true precursor of modern
sporty luxury SUVs, despite the considerable mass and weight it was able to
reach 210 km / h, with a 0-100 in just 7.8 seconds. The interior entirely
covered in leather and the wooden details convey a distinct feeling of luxury
even today, despite the passage of time.
The Lamborghini museum is rich in history and emotions for
all fans, inside there are many myths of the past and present, it is therefore
impossible not to close this roundup with an icon of the eighties, the
Countach, in an incredible version with a black body and white leather
interior.
Over the course of the day, Oppo's smartphone proved to be
one of the best cameraphone available today, very easy to use but capable of
giving high quality shots, despite the carefree use we made of it. We did not
go in search of particular shots, the context is enough and advances to make
the photos special, it is precisely in the tip and shoot that the Find X3 Pro
has confirmed itself as a high-level smartphone , highly technological but
within everyone's reach, and capable to capture the best moments of a day that
we will not easily forget.
