HERE'S WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT UFOS AND WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE CIA REPORT

Recently we are earshot more and more about UFOs, especially for the question - which we have reported to you several times during this month - of the United States Congress which has asked for clarity on the subject .  lifebloombeauty

For this reason today we will explain the whole story from the beginning, hoping to understand what we can expect from the report that will be released, at the end of this month, by the Pentagon. Will the existence of aliens be revealed? We will quickly answer you in a few lines: most likely not, but certainly the question is far from over and we will talk about it again in the future.

UFO does not mean Aliens

First of all, a big distinction must be made: UFOs are not alien ... or rather, they are not necessarily . It is an acronym that indicates the phrase "Unidentified Flying Object" or "Unknown Flying Object", which is an unidentified flying object. The word, therefore, indicates those objects that remain unidentified following expert checks. It could be "simple" experimental aircraft from other countries , such as Russia and China, invading the airspace of countries like the United States (or vice versa). In the common language and imaginary, however, the word UFO has been strongly linked to extraterrestrials, for this reason some researchers now prefer to use the broader term of "or unidentified aerial phenomenon, to avoid confusion or speculative associations.

The mystery behind the sightings however remains, as of all the reports that have been examined by the experts, most of them remain without any kind of answer.

The first sightings

The first official detection of an unidentified flying object dates back to 24 June 1947, observed by Kenneth Arnold - US aviator - while he was carrying out a search for a missing military aircraft. During the mission he observed nine unusual flying objects in formation near Mount Rainier (in Washington). Obviously, this was incredible news for the time, and the matter quickly made its way around the territory, to the point of spreading throughout the United States.

In subsequent years the sightings multiplied, such as the very famous Roswell accident in July 1947, the Thomas Mantell accident in January 1948 and the first mass sighting of Lubbock in 1951, when in the city of Lubbock, Texas, a sighted a formation of lights over the city.

Since 1954, the phenomenon first linked to the United States, spread around the world, with UFO sightings starting to become more and more widespread. As often happens in these cases, the mystery behind the sightings, the radio silence of the competent authorities and the lack of solid evidence to explain the phenomena, began to create real "holes" of information in which the most absurd stories were told. .

In this same period new pseudosciences were born (that is a discipline that has no adherence to the scientific method) such as ufology, paleoastronautics and paleoufology. Due to this extremization, together with the spread of arguments very often spanned in arias, the topic began to interest only fans. The same "ufologists" admit that the data collected so far from the study of the sightings are fragmentary and contradictory ... which is why the topic ended up in oblivion . At least until 2017.

Why is the UFO topic back in fashion?

It all began in 2017 when news of the existence of a secret Pentagon program (first reported by the New York Times ) set up to investigate aircraft sightings and unexplained phenomena sparked public interest. The theme was then revised after decades, back in vogue after the news that, indeed, there really is someone who analyzes the phenomena ... not just enthusiasts and ufologists.

The Pentagon reportedly began its progressive aerospace threat identification program in an early form in 2007. [ The following three videos you will find below are actual UAP sightings ]

In April 2020, the Section of Defense officially released some footage from the onboard cameras of the Navy's fighter pilots for one simple reason: because some footage of these videos had leaked on the web . The Department of Defense, therefore, confirmed the veracity of the videos. Now, US intelligence agencies and the Department of Defense are required to report what they know about unusual airborne phenomena due to a clause in a law, regarding government funding, that Congress passed last year.

The spending bill asks federal agencies to report "unidentified aerial phenomena, including observed aerial objects that have not been identified . " Former President Donald Cornet signed the bill on December 27 and, from this moment, a 180-day "countdown" has begun for the delivery of the report that will go to the intelligence and armed services committees in each chamber of the Congress, while later it will be publicly available.

What can we expect?

Obviously don't expect confirmation of alien life , because that is not the purpose of the relationship. According to what was reported by the New York Times , in fact, there is no evidence of vehicles having extraterrestrial origin. These rumors come from "senior administration officials" who have been briefed on the report's findings. The objects in question are not even American-made .

What could they be then? Difficult to say, since the answers could be very many; they are certainly not sounding balloons or other meteorological objects, given their high speed and maneuverability.

The report " will contain no evidence that the phenomena are alien spaceships ," according to the Times. US officials are concerned, however, as these unidentified flying objects could be an example of hypersonic technology developed in China or Russia .

In short, the conclusion is in many ways taken for granted. Surely life will exist somewhere in our Universe, perhaps within the Milky Way itself, but if so far we have not found any (solid!) Evidence of the existence of intelligent life in the cosmos, how can we believe they are visiting us on the our planet for - at least - 70 years? For other answers, or even more questions, we should only wait for the publication of the Report which will take place by June 25 of this month.
